PROGRAM AT A GLANCE

The WI-AFS Executive Committee is excited to announce the 51st Annual Meeting of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Fisheries Society will be held virtually from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday 7-Feb through Thursday 10-Feb, 2022.  The virtual format will include Live Events hosted on zoom including plenary speakers, scientific presentations, workshops, our annual business meeting, awards presentations and the raffle drawing.  Most of us will miss the in-person activities, but there will be quite a few benefits to our members including reduced cost, presentation recordings for future use and reduced health risks under the current pandemic.

Registration is open.

There will be no registration fee for members, but registration is required. However, members will need to renew their membership to receive email updates and virtual meeting links.  More detailed information will be sent via the Google Groups email and update here as details are finalized.

All presentations will be pre-recorded for viewing on our chapter website.  This virtual format brings some significant changes to our best presentation and poster sessions.  The top-rated presentations will be invited to perform live at our Live Event, February 7-10.

We will continue to update you as we continue to develop Your Guide to the 2022 Virtual Wisconsin AFS Meeting. This guide will include a Live Events Calendar, important dates, registration information, how to record and upload your presentation, poster session instructions and what we have planned for the Game of Skill.
